SCARRING FROM HAIR TRANSPLANTS?

Camouflage It With SMP

Scarring happens to the head following injury or surgery and is unlikely to have hair growth. Scalp micropigmentation can be used to conceal scalp scarring. One of the most common scars we see are from hair transplants. With our high level of expertise and knowledge, we implant the the pigment to blend perfectly with the hair follicles on and around the scar. By doing this we are able to almost completely camouflage the scar, making it practically unnoticeable.

Also the scalp micropigmentation procedure can help to soften the scar tissue, which helps to restore health to the injured skin.

FUT & FUE SCARS COVERED

Many Different Types Of Scarring Can Be Covered

With scalp micropigmentation we can cover many different types of scars. Most commonly we see hair transplant scarring. There are two types of hair transplant scarring.

FUE – Follicular Unit Extraction is where hair follicles are extracted individually and then transplanted to the balding area. The scarring is minimal as it is spread out and random, but will become more noticeable with hair growth.

FUT – Follicular Unit Transplant is where thousands of hair follicles are removed in a strip and transplanted to the balding areas. The scarring is rather severe and may strecth over time.

With our highly trained expertise, with scalp micropigmentation we can camouflage both types of hair transplant scarring.
